Baby Boy!

It's almost time for my nephew to make his grand appearance. Dana was working last night/this morning and they checked her blood pressure and decided it was too high. The perks of being a L&D RN while your pregnant. So they decided to admit her and induce her immediately. Well, I don't know if immediately is the best word. Sure they may have started inducing her "immediately", but we all know inducing can take forever!

Alex called me at 2:15 this morning (on his way to the hospital). He's so excited. He wanted me to call Dad and our grandparents this morning at 2:15. I told him maybe we should wait, 2:15 is a little early to be making phone calls! Dana's mom is in town so she's with Alex & Dana at the hospital. I'm sure it's going to be a very long day for all of them. As of 7:45 this morning Dana hadn't made much progress and it sounded like I woke Alex up when I called. . .oh well, he woke me up at 2:15! :-)
