Maddie & Bradley were worried that the Easter Bunny might not know where to find them, but sure enough he made a stop in Frisco! The eggs were hidden all over the house and so were their Easter baskets so it was too funny watching them look in every nook & cranny. We spent the morning relaxing and being lazy. Then I cooked lunch and we enjoyed a nice meal as a family. It's fun to actually get to use the formal dining room. Karen was so sweet and picked up beautiful flowers on Saturday so we had centerpieces for both tables.
After a few days of non-stop fun, we really just relaxed on Sunday. Courtney came over since she was finally back from California, but I hadn't had a chance to see her since we had company. So she hung out with us for a few hours and ended up going to dinner with us. HG took Karen & Heather to the airport late that afternoon. Maddie was not happy to see her Aunt Heather leave, but she recovered and in the end they were begging to go to GattiTown one more time. As much as I love my job and love GattiTown, I was on vacation so needless to say, GattiTown did not win out that night. Instead, we went to Gloria's and enjoyed a yummy Mexican feast!
We called it a pretty early night as the Hughes family had an early flight and had to leave our house at 5:30am.
It was a busy weekend, but a fun one!
