So my brother got the athletic ability in the family and my cousin Patrick got the singing/performing ability...and well me, still trying to figure out what I got??!!!!
But, back to Patrick! I just LOVE his voice and could listen to him sing for hours and sometimes I was lucky enough to do just that! During my first year of college at Wichita State (which I like to forget since OSU was so fabulous), I lived with my uncle and his family. So Patrick, Sarah, and I shared the basement which turned out to be better than I could've ever imagine. Patrick was in a singing group with 3 other guys and they would practice at our house. For someone who has always wished I could sing, it was pure joy to listen to them practice!! They even made a few tapes (yes, I said tapes it was 1995-96) and I played that thing in my car until it couldn't play anymore!
So fast forward a few years and Patrick is in a new band. It's called "two seconds away" and it's Patrick and his friend Tim. The cool thing is right now they have a website called newmusicmonday.com and each week they are posting a new song that you can download for FREE...who doesn't want free music??!! I love this week's song "Freakin' Me Out"!!!
