Finally, this week both HG and Courtney noticed a bump! it's not big and the rest of the world doesn't seem to notice, but to me...my body is changing like CRAZY!!!!
Just a little recap for you. We found out so early (at 4 weeks) so I feel like I've been pregnant forever and really the journey is only beginning! From about week 6 to 10, I hated being pregnant thanks to constant nausea and vomiting. The world started to get better in week 11, but I had a new symptom that I couldn't figure out...turned out to be heartburn! I've never had heartburn, but now Tums are my best friend!
By week 12, the nausea was completely gone and I only get sick on a rare occasion...usually, if a smell doesn't settle well with me after I've just eaten (so strange). I'm still really tired, but definitely feel like a brand new person now that I'm in the 2nd trimester.
I've only noticed two "cravings" so far. I never drink chocolate milk and normally don't even think about chocolate milk, but now I MUST have it!! Plus, I think it goes really well with donuts so I am limiting myself to a weekly visit (usually Friday or Saturday mornings) to the local donut store. I would drink chocolate milk daily, but wow there's a lot of calories in that stuff! who knew??!! Also, one night we ordered pizza (HG's favorite food) and we always order thin & crispy (thanks to me). He had to make the switch a few years ago, but not that night I wanted PAN pizza. He was shocked!! It was so yummy though!!! ;-)
Since I'm having twins, my travel restrictions kick in sooner than most and I won't be able to travel after Christmas. Not even for a few hours in the car so we're having a baby shower in Baxter in December and I'm really hoping that I look pregnant by then because what fun is a baby shower without a belly???!!!
I promise when there's a bump that the rest of the world will notice, I'll start posting pictures!

Yeah for the bump!!!
Can't wait to see pictures! Sorry to hear about the heartburn. I had never had it until I got pregnant either. I couldn't eat onions with either of my girls! Well worth it though. :)
Ask your doctor about when you can start using Zantac! I carried that stuff with me religiously and had a bottle in the car, by my bedside, and in my purse at all times! I didn't even know what heartburn was until I was pregnant, either!
(I did multiple blog posts about Zantac! That's how important it was to me during pregnancy!)
