Thanksgiving!

We drove to Oklahoma City on Thursday morning to spend Thanksgiving with the Spencers. It was so nice to see everyone and to actually have time to enjoy the visit. Erin & Molly whipped up an Italian fest (breaking tradition!!) and we were all stuffed.

We spent the afternoon visiting, playing card games, drinking (everyone, but me), and just enjoying the day. Then shock of all shockers, Erin suggested we go to the movies. She NEVER wants to go to the movies. We went to see Four Christmases and while it was cute...it wasn't great. I would wait for DVD.

It was a long day and I was in bed by 9pm!! We had a great breakfast on Friday morning courtesy of Grady (Erin's grandpa) and then we just visited until it was time to head out that afternoon. We had to make one stop first and that was to split a BBQ sandwich from Spencer's BBQ before getting back on the road. We couldn't go to OKC and not get it hot & fresh from the restaurant!

When we got back in town on Friday afternoon, we decided to do our Christmas shopping. HG and I spent a few hours on Friday and a few hours on Saturday and we were done! I'm so excited to be done. We then spent Saturday evening putting up our Christmas tree while watching the OSU/OU game. While I wish the outcome would've been different at least it was a good game!
