Baby Shower!

So I was totally spoiled this weekend! The girls went ABOVE & BEYOND!!! As Kari put it, it was a baby soiree and not a baby shower!!!

It was a casual come & go shower from 2-4pm. Saturdays are so hectic for everyone that I just wanted people to stop by when they could. I LOVED it!! It was so fun just to visit with everyone. The food was unbelievable!!!!! Mark (CT's mister) volunteered his culinary skills and was responsible for the entire menu. I'm not sure he knew quite what he was getting himself into!!! I can't even remember everything that was on the menu, but some of the items were crab cakes (my favs!), a lobster jicama slaw, thai chicken pizza, an amazing ahi tuna dish (but I had to skip that one...can't wait to have sushi again), and so many other things.

The shower was at my house and the girls took care of everything. I just watched them work for hours before the shower...thanks ladies & Mark!!! We had little stations set-up when you walked in since we had asked for unwrapped gifts (kinda hard to have a designated unwrapping time when it was come & go) so the gifts were displayed in the dining room. It was so cute!! They were greeted with a bubbly punch before joining me in the living room with all the yummy food!

It was so fun to see everyone and I had a great time! Now, it's time to finish organizing all of it and getting ready for their arrival...crazy, crazy!!!!

I only snapped a few photos before the shower started so I don't have any with any guests. I'm hoping someone else has photos to share.

Let's get this party started...YUMMY punch! and can you see the flowers? CT created each vase and they are gorgeous!!! How that girl knows how to arrange flowers too just amazes me!
