Let's see...I'm HUGE!! At least I feel that way. I've also begun swelling and have the ever-so-fun cankles! YIKES!!! With the warm weather sticking around for a few days I've started swelling on a regular basis. It was just happening at night while I slept and I would wake up a little puffy, but it would be gone within the hour...not anymore, I'm swollen all day!!
My last round of appointments was the week of February 24th and I was 30 weeks at the time. The specialist thought that Hudson weighed 3 lb, 15 oz. and that Kennedy weighed 3 lb, 5 oz. That was the first time there had ever been a big discrepancy like that, but he wasn't too worried. He said if they continue growing on track that they should be able to gain about 3 more pounds in the next 7 weeks. Then a few days later I visited my regular OB and he said they each weighed 3 lb, 5 oz...who knows!! I have to admit that I do agree with him this time because that would've meant that Hudson gained almost 1 1/2 pounds in two weeks based on Dr. Gore's measurements.
Also, at my 30 week appt I was hooked up to the fetal heart monitor and I guess this will be standard for any future visits with the specialist. The poor nurse was getting a little frustrated as Kennedy & Hudson were being super active and making it very difficult for her to get their heartrate and keep it. She finally did and all was well!
I now see the specialist every two weeks and I thought I would begin seeing my doctor every week, but at the 30 week appt he said I could wait to start coming weekly until after my appt at 32 weeks. So I guess this is the week.
I have two appointments this week (specialist and regular doc) and will keep you all posted. So far so good. I'm extremely exhausted...all the time, but other than that everything seems to be going well.
I just have to say that I have a wonderful husband. He deserves a little bragging. He's constantly telling me to rest. If I cook dinner then he makes sure to do all the cleaning and he's even fixed dinner a few times so I wouldn't have to. I have far more energy in the morning and by 5pm, I'm ready for the couch! This weekend, I volunteered at church on Saturday morning and while I was gone he did the laundry, made the bed, vacuumed, dusted, and did yard work. How does he get it done so fast when it takes me all day??!!! I can't even begin to thank him enough for being so sweet!
So this week marks week 32. I'm hoping that we make it to week 37, but I'm supposed to be prepared for as early as 34 weeks. Two weeks away is definitely too soon so please continue to keep us in your prayers and pray that week 37 (April 16th) is our time!

This is just so exciting. Cherish the quiet time while you can. If you can get to a swimming pool, do. Just float. It will help a ton.
I can't believe you are so close!! I will be thinking of you and hoping you make it to your goal!!!!
I can't wait to see your babies!! I'll be thinking 37!!! I hope you are feeling great!
