Friday night, Ashley & family were the first to arrive and Maddie & Bradley were so excited to meet Kennedy & Hudson. Right away they wanted to hold them. It was so cute! They were so sweet with the babies. The Hughes family was back early on Saturday morning so they could get ample cuddle time before Aunt Heather & Grandma arrived and they would have to fight over the kids.
I snuck away on Saturday morning to get my hair done and apparently Maddie & Bradley were more than happy to babysit. They sat on the couch holding the babies for almost 2 hours while the babies slept. They even pitched in and helped feed the babies. Maddie is 7 and Bradley is 5 so I never expected that they would want to spend this much time cuddling with their cousins. They wanted to hold them all weekend. Aunt Ashley & Aunt Heather had to fight for their turns!
Sunday morning we celebrated Mother's Day with a breakfast feast (courtesy of Larry) and it was so nice to have yummy food and not have to cook or clean! I was certainly spoiled that weekend as the kids sent a fruit bouquet on Saturday (Grandma has already taught them how to shop online) and HG got me a new camera and a little bit of luxury...maid service! It's a one-time deal, but maybe if I'm really good it can become a monthly service! ;-)
