They are both morning people (I'm not!!) and are their happiest when they first wake up so I can't help, but start my day with a smile. They smile and laugh and make such cutes faces in the morning. I prefer it to be at least 7am, but if it's 5-6am they can still usually win me over with one of their smiles!
They aren't sleeping through the night yet, but we're getting close. The last few nights Hudson has slept 9-10 hours straight which has been awesome. Kennedy hasn't done that yet. Her longest stretch is 8 hours, but I'm happy with that too. If they do wake up in the middle of the night it's usually only once, but at different times so I'm still getting up more than I want, but I do see the light at the end of the tunnel! Bedtime is between 7-8pm so I'm pretty much in bed by 9pm every night...crazy what life has come to. I'm so exhausted by then that I think I'm asleep before my head even touches the pillow!
We had our 4 month appointment on Thursday and they are doing great! We are going to start cereal this week when HG gets back from business travel and hopefully that will help them sleep longer too!
Here are their current stats:
Hudson
Weight - 15.1 (50-75%) He gained 4.3 pounds in the last two months.
Height - 24.3 (25-50%) He grew 3 inches
Head - 17 (75-90%)
Kennedy
Weight - 13.12 (50-75%) She gained 3.42 pounds
Height - 23.8 (50%) She grew 3 inches
Head - 16.4 (75-90%)
They are moving right along. They aren't rollin over yet, but they sure are trying. Our homework assignment from the pediatrician's office is more tummy time. They don't really like it so we do a little at a time, but it sounds like I need to be a little more forceful. Hudson LOVES to stand so he has great head/neck control and thinks he should be walking if you'd let him, but Kennedy isn't as strong. She can hold her head up pretty good, but she can still be a bobble head at times so thats what we'll be working on.
Poor Hudson has eczema, but hopefully it will clear up soon and there is a good chance that he'll outgrow it. They absolutely LOVE eating their hands, but H's skin just can't take it. He attacks his hands just like he attacks his bottles! ;-)
Below are some pics from Saturday. I have a ton of pics that I just uploaded so there will be more posts soon!

They are so cute! And growing! We had to do 12 tummy times a day per doctor's orders, so I remember that! And cereal! Get it on video! How exciting!
