Santa Claus

It was quite the adventure getting our picture taken with Santa, but thankfully it all worked out! We arrived at Stonebriar at 12:30pm just as they were closing the line for Santa to take his lunch break at 1pm. Don't they know that I had perfectly timed this...they were fresh from a nap and a feeding...happy kids I had!

Well, the mall was pretty busy and we weren't really planning on shopping, but then I remembered that I had a gift card from Skechers burning a hole in my pocket so we thought we'd kill some time and head to Willow Bend Mall. First though we were hopeful that Santa had a different lunch break, but of course not it was the same. So we headed to Willow Bend, grabbed some lunch in the food court, and kept the kids entertained. We got in line about 20 minutes before Santa was to arrive as the line was already forming and began the wait.

We fed them in line so we still had happy kids. whew, so far so good! Then as we're the 3rd family in line the line stops and we wait and wait and wait! The employee saw the look on my face and came over to explain. Apparently, the snow wasn't blowing and they were fixing it. Snow? There's snow in the picture? No, it wasn't in the picture, but in the fun little area you walk thru to get to the picture. They had stopped the picture process to fix the snow...are you kidding me? So I asked to speak with a manager and within a few minutes the snow was put on hold and the photos were back in session! Seriously people...babies and kids live by a schedule. Please don't do silly stuff like making us wait for an "effect" that isn't even in the picture!

As I've mentioned before, K has an aversion to white fluffy dogs so we went in expecting a meltdown and anything, but would be a huge success! Well, it was a success!!! She's not smiling, but she's not screaming either! I love that H is cheesin' it! Poor K has such red cheeks. Her skin has been pretty irritated since getting sick last week so rosy cheeks it is!

So all in all, we're happy with our visit to the North Pole!
