I just LOVE the holidays! There's always tons of stuff going on and I'm guaranteed to see most of my friends more in the month of December than I do all year!
It's our annual tradition to celebrate the holidays with food (always) and a little game of Dirty Santa. We actually bring gifts you want to steal and not the cheap and tacky gifts that normally go with a White Elephant Exchange.
We had dinner at Maggiano's (YUM!!!) I learned that you can substitute the pasta for whole wheat penne pasta. . .I was so excited. Amanda & I both got the Chicken Pesto with the whole wheat pasta and it was really good. I was impressed. Yep, I'm starting the New Year's Resolution early. . same one I have every year!
Anyway, we enjoyed a delicious meal (we all sampled each other's plates) and 3 bottles of
wine. . .no get-together is complete without wine and then it was on to the gift-stealing!
There were lots of great gifts to choose from. . .Courtney's too-cute gift basket, jewelry, gift cards, and of course Elisha's super popular purse that Jamie stole from me!!!!! :-) We all went home with a great gift, but most importantly the best gift was just spending time together!
