ZOO!!

Yesterday was a GORGEOUS day. My car said the temperature got to 81 degrees. . .what a beautiful, sunny afternoon in January.

Courtney & I decided we wanted to do something different and fun today. Well, I've never been to the Ft. Worth Zoo so off we went. We called Monique to see if she wanted to join us and I think she was more excited than we were.

We took a little road trip to Ft. Worth and spent two hours outside enjoying the weather, good friends, and for the most part cute animals. Some of those poor creatures were not blessed with cute genes!

We had a wonderful day. Afterwards, we stopped by Erin's to visit for a little bit. You can't go to that part of town and not see Erin. . .that would be a crime!! Then we dropped Moe off and were headed home. Halfway there we decided we weren't quite ready to go home yet so we headed to Sherlock's for a little socializing. Rachel & Jessica met us (almost 2 hours later!!!! they decided to look "cute" even though we told them we had just come from the zoo), but we had a GREAT time. What started out as a few drinks turned into a LATE night and a fun girlie outing!!
