HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

These are the gorgeous flowers that my husband hand-delivered last night! My husband DOES NOT believe in Valetine's Day. He thinks it's a "made up holiday from Hallmark!". So our first Valentine's Day together he pulls out all the stops and I think I must be the luckiest girl ever and then nothing until this year (5 years later!!!). From the sounds of it, he had a few other tricks up his sleeve, but my crazy schedule threw a kink in the plans! So we had a pseudo celebration last night as I do have a little something planned for him today. Nothing big, but right up his alley (can't say too much in case he actually reads this. . .though I doubt it!).

Today I'm having lunch with the 5th grader that I mentor at an elementary school in Plano. I also baked cookies (the easy throw in the oven kind) for her entire grade. Let's hope I made enough! Due to privacy, I can't really say her name so I guess I'll just refer to her as the 5th grader. Anyway, I'll have a post all about her soon. She's great and I'm having so much fun!

Then this evening we're having a Valentine's Party at GattiTown so it should be fun, but not the romantic way I had envisioned spending my Valentine's evening. . .oh well!

So on this day of LOVE please know that each of you mean the world to me!!!
