Whirlwind Weekend!

This weekend went by so fast and I crammed a lot into it! Friday morning I got up early and drove into Baxter for the night! My dad had a great idea to throw a party and just invite everyone to one place to hang out, mingle, and get the chance to meet Aidan. Well, since Dad works for Harley Davidson and our entire family LOVES Harley Davidson why not have it in their private room. It was the perfect location. It was so great to visit with everyone and to show off Aidan. He is doing great and has grown so much! He weighs almost 11 pounds and is happy & healthy!

My sweet little cutie pie!!! Isn't he precious??

Aidan, Marilyn, and Alex

How did we miss Grandpa??!!
Dana, Alex, Dad, Nana (now Great-Nana), Aidan, & me

One proud papa! The perfect gift! It's even a Baxter baseball hat.

Aidan is taking after his momma and has blue eyes and a hint of red hair!

Thank you so much to everyone who was able to join us. We had a FANTASTIC time!!! Afterwards, Dana & Aidan headed back to Arkansas with her parents (they're staying for a few more days) and Alex stayed in Joplin with me since he had to leave for Colorado the next day. Somehow his friends talked us into joining them at the bar. Alex promised we'd be home by midnight, but midnight turned into 3:00am. . .I was exhausted, but it was so much fun to hang out with "the boys" again!!

Saturday morning I got back in the car to head home, but first I had to stop in Tahlequah for a quick visit with the Barretts. I just love them especially Miss Avery! She didn't want me to leave so she locked the front door. . .too cute!!!

I made it home just in time to shower and change and head out to two birthday parties. The first was a surprise party for my friend Mandy who was celebrating her 30th birthday. We were running late (go figure) and were in the valet line behind her. Thank goodness I was paying attention and didn't ruin the surprise. We missed out on yelling surprise, but we still got to visit with everyone for a little bit before heading to Colleyville for Daron's 40th birthday. The theme for Daron's party was camo/hunting so we were in camo gear for Mandy's party. . .not exactly fitting for the Dallas crowd or with my normal wardrobe!

Daron's party was a ton of fun! Erin outdid herself. Her parents catered the party. . .YUM!!! Decorations were everywhere. She completely converted the garage into a bar/dance area with camo burlap for wall decor. The men were even excited to have "shot girls" serving them. There was plenty of food and the alcohol was flowing. They played a hilarious version of Survivor with tons of crazy stunts and shots for the losers. . .FUN, FUN!!! Another late night, but it was worth it!

Happy Birthday Mandy & Daron!!

The one & only time you'll ever see me in camo!

Happy 40th!!!!

Friday evening was a great fun time. You and your Dad did a great job. It was great for me seeing all your's and Alex's friends that had been a big part of my life during your sports and high school years.
Love you

I also hate camo and would only wear it for a party.

When does the new D come out? I want to see if we are in it... But, I kind of doubt that we are.
