Just look at this cutie pie!!!

So HG & I slept in a little bit this morning. We were supposed to go to breakfast, but by the time we showered & made some phone calls, I was more anxious to get to the hospital to see Aidan than eat. Frankie was already at the hospital as she went early so she could be there when they did the MRI. Now it was just a waiting game to find out what's wrong. Alex & Dana didn't have to "gown up", but the rest of us had to wear a gown anytime we held him and thoroughly wash our hands before and after. Our hands were so raw from the multiple washings and the extra strong soap that I've used more lotion in the last few days than I think I have in my entire life!
At this point we knew Aidan would be spending his first Christmas in the hospital and Frankie and I weren't going to let that stop us. We all visited for a bit and then Frankie, Michael, Harold, & I ventured out for lunch and some shopping. We shopped till we dropped. We picked up some items for Dana & Alex that they hadn't had time to get since they've basically been in and out of the hospital since Dec. 11th. We got some items to help bring Christmas cheer into the hospital room and with a few other things our shopping was complete. We were checking in with Dana & Alex throughout the day and once they learned that we had Chick-Fil-A for lunch they wanted it to so we made our 2nd visit to Chick-Fil-A and brought them a late lunch. We quickly dropped off the food and headed back to the house for Operation Christmas! I had previously told Alex that we could just bring the presents to the hospital and open the gifts there. He said no, we'll just go home for a little bit and do it then. . .yeah, right! He and Dana weren't leaving Aidan's side!
HG & I gathered up Dana's pink tree (she just loves it and it was perfect for our celebration) and all the gifts and hauled them up to the hospital. Frankie & Michael had a few other errands to run and then they brought beer and snack food for our Christmas Eve celebration. They also grabbed some games for us to play later that night.
We definitely brought Christmas to the hospital. We had a tree, gifts, a cd player with Christmas music, and food & drinks! At the last minute we decided to order pizza and were lucky to find a place open after 6pm on Christmas Eve! We really enjoyed ourselves that evening. We spent time cuddling with Aidan, challenging each other to Deal or No Deal (video game), and just hanging out!
