Ashley, Maddie, and Bradley spent their Spring Break with us this year. Since Ashley is a teacher she gets to enjoy the week off as well, but Larry had to stay behind and work! We missed ya, Larry!
So the gang arrived late Tuesday night as their flight was delayed about 2 1/2 hours due to the horrible rain. We fell into bed around 1am because of course we had to stay up and play with the kids since it was their first night.
On Wednesday, both HG & I had to work so a friend of theirs drove in from Paris, TX and they spent the day with her. Our fun began on Thursday. HG had to work, but I of course had our long weekend all planned out (imagine that)!
We spent some time at the neighborhood park that morning and then went to GattiTown for lunch. We spent 3 hours there! This was really my first time to see it from a customer's point of view! Now, I completely understand how you can spend the whole afternoon. We had so much fun!! Then after GattiTown we spent the evening at the Indoor Aquatic Park at the Frisco Athletic Center. The kids were dying to go swimming and this was definitely the way to go since it was too cold to swim outside. It really was a lot of fun.
